How to install a different Text to Speech voice on Windows 7



1 - Download and Install Microsoft Speech Platform - Runtime (Version 11) compatible with your system. For Windows 7 32-bit Operating System:
x86_SpeechPlatformRuntime\SpeechPlatformRuntime.msi

2- Download and Install Microsoft Speech Platform - Runtime Languages (Version 11); download and install the Text to Speech (TTS) file(s) of your choice, for example: MSSpeech_TTS_en-GB_Hazel.msi.

3- Go to Control Panel -> Speech Recognition -> Text to Speech, check if the new voice has been installed: (Please see picture below).

How to convert a column to a row (or vice -versa) in Excell

1- Copy the data columns or rows.
2- Right click on the first destination cell that you want to paste, and then click Paste Special.
3- Select Transpose in the Paste Special dialog box.

Moving Exchange 2003 Resources to Exchange 2010

When you are trying to move a resource from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 you may get an error message: "Property Expression "XXXX YYYY ZZZZ" isn´t valid.

The solution is to check the alias name of the resource. The alias name should not have any spaces.

Lync 2010 - Cannot Synchronize with the corporate address book

Application: Lync 2010

Sympton: The message below appears every time you are trying to search for a new contact in Lync 2010.
Message: Cannot synchronize with the corporate address book. The cause of the problem is unknown. Please contact your system administrator with this information.

Solution: (That worked in my scenario.)
1- Sign-out from Lync 2010
2- Delete or rename the following files, that you may find in the following directory (Windows 7) C:UsersTestAppDataLocalMicrosoftCommunicatorsip_test@test.com
GalContacts.db
GalContacts.db.idx
3- Sign back into Lync and wait for it to recreate these two files. In my case I had to wait about 10 minutes.

Exchange 2010 Mailbox Move error:INSUFF_ACCESS_RIGHTS

When you are trying to move a maibox from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 you may get the following error:
Active directory response: 00002098: SecErr: DSID-03150BB9 problem 4003 ( INSUFF_ACCESS_RIGHTS),

The solution is to:
1- Access Active Directory Users and Computer (Windows Server 2008, since you may not find this option under AD Users and Computer in Win 2003)
2- Select Advanced Features under View menu option
3- Right click under the user account that has presented the issue
4- Select Security, Advanced and tick the box "Include inheritable permissions from this objet´s parent"
5- Now try moving the mailbox

Exchange 2003 ActiveSync: iphone not synchronizing



Symptom: iphone displays the following message: "Cannot Get Mail" when it is trying to synchronize e-mails, calendar and contacts with your coorporate email server: Exchange 2003 via ActiveSync and SSL.
Resolution: Disable Forms-Based Authentication from your Exchange 2003 Back-end server by following these steps:
1.Open Exchange System Manager.
2.Navigate to your server object.
3.Expand your server object, and expand Protocols.
4.Expand HTTP.
5.Right-click on the Exchange Virtual Server and select Properties.
6.Disable Forms-Based Authentication.
7.Restart IIS Admin service.
